by preventing fertilizer runoff and seepage into the ground water.
A decorative pond or lagoon lined with a geomembrane is vastly superior to the compacted
clay lined ponds of the past. The compacted clay liners were expensive to install,
required extensive labor and equipment, and were ultimately prone to cracking and
leakage over time.
Conversely, geosynthetic liners can be installed quickly and economically, and requires
minimal equipment. The flexibility of the geomembrane allows the liner to conform
to any size and shape and accommodate the most creative of designs. The edges of
the liner can be blended into the surrounding landscape creating an undetectable
transition.
